PT Baturona Adimulyo Begins Coal Overpass Construction in Musi Banyuasin, Inaugurated by Herman Deru

Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra – PT Baturona Adimulyo has officially started the construction of a coal transport overpass and dedicated hauling route in Sungai Lilin, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The groundbreaking ceremony was officially inaugurated by South Sumatra Governor Herman Deru on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

This project reflects the company’s commitment to improving coal logistics infrastructure while reducing the use of public roads by mining transport vehicles.

57-Kilometer Dedicated Coal Hauling Route

The project includes the development of a 57-kilometer dedicated coal hauling road, supported by a 45-meter overpass.

This infrastructure is expected to become a strategic logistics corridor for coal distribution across South Sumatra, including supply routes from Musi Rawas and North Musi Rawas.

In addition to improving transportation efficiency, the dedicated route is also expected to significantly reduce heavy mining truck traffic on public roads.

Government Support and Industry Collaboration

During the ceremony, Herman Deru expressed his appreciation for PT Baturona Adimulyo’s initiative in building the dedicated route in line with the provincial government’s long-term mining transportation policy.

According to him, the construction of a special hauling road is an important step toward implementing mining regulations and improving infrastructure sustainability.
